Yakima LongHaul RV Bike Rack Installation - 2018 Winnebago Forza Motorhome- Video
How's it going neighbors This is Ed here with etrailer.com and we're taking a look at the Yakima Long Haul on the back of our 2018 Winnebago Forza. The Long Haul is a hanging style bike carrier and one of the easiest and cost effective ways to get four bikes on the road with you on the back of a RV. What makes the Long Haul special is the fact that it's reinforced at the shank to handle that up and down force that you're going to experience going down the road on the back of your Winnebago. On the back of our Forza here, you can see that overall your lights are not gonna be blocked, but your license plate will be obstructed by that mast going up. So depending on your location, you may or may not need to relocate that. As far as your reflectors and your exhaust, you're at a pretty good space where you don't have to worry about blocking anything out. more

Hey everyone, it's Evangeline here at etrailer and today we have the Yakima LongHaul hanging bike rack. This is gonna be an RV rated bike rack which means you can carry this with your 2022 Winnebago Forza motor home. So with this bike rack, there are not that many. There are a good amount of bike racks that are rated for motor homes, but they have to be extra sturdy because there's a lot more sway in the back. So the LongHaul is definitely designed for that feature but also compared to some other RV bike racks this takes up less space and is a bit more affordable. It's also a hanging rack though, and that has its downsides. more

Hi, everyone. Aiden, here with etrailer.com. Today we're taking a look at the Yakima LongHaul bike rack, here on our 2016 Winnebago Spirit motor home. It's going to be a hanging style bike rack holding the bike by the frame right here. We've got three points of contact, two straps on top holding it into these cradles. And then a third one around the seat post, limiting our side to side movement, which will reduce bike to bike contact. more

Hey everybody welcome to etrailer.com, I'm Bobby and today we're taking a look at the Yakima LongHaul 4-Bike Rack here on our 2014 Winnebago Vista. Now, if you are starting to get these bikes up on your motorhome, things to consider are these are gonna have a lot more strict requirements on durability and strength on the back of our motorhomes than our normal vehicles. Why that is We are a lot further from our rear axle. So we are gonna have a lot more kinda pressure intention on the back of these guys as they get further and further from that axle, that weight's really gonna start having an impact. However, the LongHaul is definitely designed for it. It's been tested time and time again on a ton of RVs by Yakima and it definitely holds up for a lot of reasons. more

Everybody welcome to etailer.com, I'm Bobby. And today we're taking a look at the Yakima Long Haul four bike rack carrier here on our 2020 Winnebago view. Now, if you're starting to go on some long road trips and you are just heading into your motor home and you are wanting to get some bikes to the trailer heads with you, keep in mind these are going to be a little different than if you just had a normal vehicle. Since we're further from our rear axle we are gonna need more support. And that's where the long haul really starts showcasing itself. It has been designed and tested for RVs. more

Now that's going to be an excellent way of getting four bikes to the trails to wherever you are and your destination in your RV, as this guy is going to be rated for the heavy duty application on being the back of a motor home. Now, a lot of times, you're going to get a lot more kind of pressure, strength and a lot of vibration on the back of the RV since we are so far back from our rear axle, so you are going to need something that is built to be tough and hold up on the back of the RV. more

So first up, this is gonna be a good bike rack to carry your bikes on either your rig or your home vehicle. It works on both of those, which is kind of a rarity, but it's really sturdy and it'll hold up to the vibrations of being on the back of a motorhome and be fine enough to use on the back of your regular vehicle too. It holds the bike by the frame. You got these two plates and you can turn these hand knobs down. more

Yakima RoadTrip 4 Bike Rack Review - 2010 Winnebago Access Motorhome- Video
Speaker 1: Today on our 2010 Winnebago Access, we're going to be installing Yakima's RoadTrip 4-Bike Rack, part number: Y02477.This is a 4-bike rack that's RV approved, so those extra bounces and jounces that happen going down the road at the back of your motor home will allow you to safely carry your bikes without worry of damage.There's three contact points, two on the top side of the frame and one for the rear of the bike to help stabilize it back and forth. You can't take your bike off by pressing in on the release levers and sliding the strap outward. Do that for the two remaining straps. Now your bike can be easily lifted off.Your bike rests in the V-groove pads located up on top where each clamp goes. It's got a rubber padding that'll present any scratches or abrasions and help cushion the ride going down the road for your bike. Located on the top of each strap is a cushioning pad as well. more
